ReplyDeleteIf you haven't gotten the "cease and desist" letter yet from Natalie McNeal of "Frugalista Files" at the Miami Herald, be prepared -- she has trademarked the word and her lawyer is sending legal notices to anyone with the word in their blog name. I go one, I didn't like it, I complained and raised my voice, and things are getting interesting.
The trademark is ridiculously broad and is for a word that shouldn't have been trademarked.
You can read up on the controversy on my blog, http://jacksonfrugalista.wordpress.com/. I don't know if you'll get the letter from them, but you might as well be prepared!
By the way, your blog is lovely -- I still haven't figured out how I want mine to look. Might as well wait until I know what it will be called!
