I love finding a new discount sites. One of the first indulgences that I had to get rid of was my beauty product whoredom. DineLA's Restaurant Week Returns!
October 4-9 and October 11-16, 2009
DineLA's Restaurant Week is a great chance to check out those restaurants that are usually too expensive to just "try." I usually try to hit up one or two of these each time, sometimes to finally try a place I've been meaning to, or to enjoy an old favorite at a more reasonable price. The deals are available through prix fixe meals (you will be given a few choices). Look at DineLA's website to get more detailed information about the restaurants and their deals. Keep in mind that some restaurants will offer deals beyond what they advertise on DineLA's site.

Cutest Address Stamps Ever
There is something that makes me super happy to see a personal letter addressed to me in the mail. Not a bill or a credit card application, but a lovely hello note, a thank you card or a picture of a someone i love. With all this immediate electronic communication, sending snail mail has become less and less frequent. I always tell myself that I will start writing more letters and sticking them in the mail (no doubt, helping out our poor USPS).
